CALM IN THE STORM
A Weekend of Yoga + Resilience with Noah Mazé
November 14 + 15 | Dragon Asana | Gunnison, Colorado
CULTIVATING EQUANIMITY THAT HOLDS,
EVEN WHEN THE GROUND SHIFTS.
For one weekend, Dragon Asana welcomes internationally respected yoga teacher and educator Noah Mazé to Gunnison.
This is a pretty incredible opportunity for our little mountain community.
Noah has spent more than four decades immersed in the study and practice of yoga and is known for teaching with remarkable depth, precision, curiosity, and clarity. His work brings together intelligent asana, alignment, philosophy, breathwork, meditation, biomechanics, and a deep respect for the traditions of yoga.
And now we get to practice with him right here in Gunnison.
Three sessions. One weekend. Come for one or experience the whole thing.

Gravitas: The Guru Principal
Ground. Root. Remember what matters.
Saturday, November 14th | 9am - 12pm
Beginning with the concept of guruttva, the guru principle, this session explores what it means to feel grounded and steady.
Through supported poses, hip openers, inversions, breathwork, meditation, and philosophy, we’ll build a foundation for staying centered even when life feels uncertain.
Equanimity in Disequilibrium
Finding steadiness while everything is moving.
Saturday, November 14th | 3pm - 6pm
Through an all-levels vinyasa practice with balance poses, breathwork, meditation, and philosophy, we’ll explore how to stay grounded when stability is challenged.
Expect a dynamic practice that invites you to work, explore, and find steadiness even when things are moving.
Steady Body, Strong Heart, Steady Mind
Building the resilience to meet the world fully.
Sunday, November 15th | 9am - 12pm
The final session brings the weekend together through progressive backbending, core and shoulder work, standing poses, arm balances, breathwork, meditation, and philosophy.
We’ll explore strength, openness, and resilience, finishing the weekend with the tools to step back into the world with greater steadiness and clarity.
Meet Your Teacher
NOAH MAZÉ
Yoga Teacher · Educator · Founder of The Mazé Method
Noah Mazé is a highly respected yoga teacher, teacher trainer, and lifelong practitioner with more than 40 years of practice and study across a wide range of yoga styles and traditions.
Known as a “teacher's teacher,” Noah brings extraordinary depth to the practice while making complex ideas understandable and useful. His teaching integrates precision alignment, intelligent sequencing, applied anatomy and biomechanics, philosophy, meditation, pranayama, and dynamic movement.
But what makes studying with Noah especially powerful isn't simply how much he knows. It's his ability to teach you how to think, investigate, question, and learn.
His approach is rigorous without losing curiosity, rooted in tradition without being stuck there, and designed to give students tools they can actually use in their own practice and teaching.
Whether you're a longtime yoga teacher or simply someone who loves to practice, expect to leave with new questions, new understanding, and plenty to keep exploring long after the weekend ends.
WHY THIS WEEKEND MATTERS
WORLD-CLASS TEACHING.
RIGHT HERE IN GUNNISON.
At Dragon Asana, we believe part of building a strong yoga community is creating opportunities to learn from exceptional teachers with different perspectives, decades of experience, and something meaningful to share.
Bringing Noah Mazé to Gunnison is exactly that.
You don't have to travel to Denver, Los Angeles, or across the country for this one.
He's coming here.
To our studio. To our valley. To practice with us.
We could not be more excited to open our doors, roll out the mats, and share this weekend with the Gunnison Valley yoga community.
